2.1 Enhancing the Image

Enhancing the picture is the method of improving the image quality by manipulating the picture to better depict skin cancer detection [4]. This is a crucial step to ensure more accurate processing of an enhanced and transformed image. The improvement of the picture is divided into three classifications. They are image scaling, transforming a colour space and contrast enhancement of the picture.

2.1.1 Image Scaling

Image scaling means picture resize owing to an absence of the same and standard size. Images of skin cancer are collected from various sources and can vary in size. It is the first step in redimensioning the image so that it contains the pixels with a fixed width but the height is normal.
